Chromeo™ Fluorescent Probes are easy to use, highly effective fluorescent labels for bioanalysis. They were designed to improve the study of protein-protein interactions, protein localization and numerous other biological events with high sensitivity. The fluorescent Chromeo™ Dyes – Chromeo 488, Chromeo 494, Chromeo 505, Chromeo 546 and Chromeo 642 – exhibit superior luminescence properties, broad Stokes shifts and resistance to photobleaching. To provide you with flexibility in your labeling, Chromeo Dyes are available in a number of chemistries. For maximum convenience, the dyes are also offered as complete, optimized Fluorescent Antibody Labeling Kits. The dyes are also available as high-quality Fluorescent Secondary Antibody Conjugates, which have been validated in immunofluorescence experiments with different microscopy techniques, in ELISA and in flow cytometry.
Chromeo™ Py-Dyes are a unique class of amine-reactive fluorescent labels that undergo a shortwave spectral shift as well as a large increase in quantum yield upon reaction with primary amines, which effectively eliminates background from any unbound dye.
