for T-47D nuclear extractContents
200 µg of T-47D nuclear extract at 6.37 µg/µl.
for T-47D nuclear extractBackground
T-47D nuclear extract was prepared from cell cultures of the human ductal breast epithelial tumor cell line. The T-47D cell line was derived from a pleural effusion of a 54-year old female patient with infiltrating ductal carcinoma. These cells exhibit a differentiated epithelial cell phenotype and express receptors to estradiol, as well as other steroids, and calcitonin. These cells also express mutant tumor suppressor p53 and are therefore commonly used in research as in vitro models of mutant p53 breast cancer cells to study breast cancer tumorigenicity and related drug therapies, such as tamoxifen.
for T-47D nuclear extractApplication Notes
T-47D nuclear extract is specifically recommended for in studies related to breast cancer and associated drug therapies.
for T-47D nuclear extractExtract Origin
Human breast ductal carcinoma
for T-47D nuclear extractExtract Composition
T-47D nuclear extract is supplied in Dilution Buffer (20 mM Hepes (pH 7.9), 100 mM KCl, 1 mM MgCl2, 20% glycerol, 0.5 mM PMSF and 0.5 mM DTT).
for T-47D nuclear extractQuality Control
Extracts have been quality control tested by Western blot and the Electrophoretic Mobility Shift Assay (EMSA).
for T-47D nuclear extractStorage
To ensure stability, extracts should be stored at -80°C.
We recommend aliquoting the extracts into single-use fractions and then storing them at -80°C. This eliminates repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
