for Copine I antibody (pAb)Background
Copine I (CPNE1) is a member of a family of calcium phospholipid-binding proteins that play a role in cell signaling. Copine I augments the activated Tumor Necrosis Factor-alpha (TNF-α) signaling pathway in a calcium-dependent manner. Copine I is a repressor protein that physically interacts with NFκB p65 to inhibit NFκB-mediated transcription.
for Copine I antibody (pAb)Immunogen
This antibody was raised against a peptide corresponding to amino acids 519-532 of human Copine I.
for Copine I antibody (pAb)Application Notes
This Copine I antibody has been validated for use in Western blotting (1:500 - 1:2,000 dilution). While a 59 kDa band is predicted, a ~68 kDa band was observed.
