Background:
Copine I is a member of a family of calcium binding proteins that play a role in cell signaling. Copine I augments the activated TNF-α pathway in a calcium-dependent manner.
Immunogen:
This antibody was raised against a peptide corresponding to amino acids 519-532 of human Copine I.
Buffer:
Rabbit serum containing 30% glycerol and 0.035% sodium azide.
Application Notes:
This product has been tested by Western blotting (1:500 - 1:2,000). 59 kDa predicted (68 kDa observed).
This antibody was used in Ramsey et al (2008) Oncogene 27:3516.

20 µg of PC3 whole-cell lysate probed with Catalog No. 39101 (1:2000 dilution).
Storage:
Antibodies in solution can be stored at -20°C for 2 years. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles and keep on ice when not in storage.
