Background for Hbo1 antibody (pAb):
Hbo1 (
HAT binding to ORC1) is a MYST-family
histone acetyltransferase (HAT) that forms a complex with
ING4/5,
JADE1/2/3, and
Eaf6, which is found enriched on coding regions of genes, supporting a role in transcriptional elongation. In addition,
Hbo1 is thought to participate in events controlling the initiation of DNA replication.
Immunogen for Hbo1 antibody (pAb):
This antibody was raised against a synthetic peptide containing amino acids 158-172 of human Hbo1.
Application Notes for Hbo1 antibody (pAb):
This Hbo1 antibody has been validated for use in Western blotting (1:500 - 1:2,000 dilution). Hbo1 is chromatin-associated and can be detected by Western blot in whole-cell extracts or in the chromatin fraction of a nuclear extract. Overnight incubation with this antibody recommended for Western blotting.

Rabbit serum containing 30% glycerol and 0.035% sodium azide.
