Background for LIG1 antibody (pAb):
LIG1 is an ATP-dependent DNA ligase that participates in base excision and repair processes during DNA replication.
Immunogen for LIG1 antibody (pAb):
This antibody was raised against a peptide corresponding to amino acid residues 51-68 of human LIG1.
Application Notes for LIG1 antibody (pAb):
This LIG1 antibody has been validated for use in Western blotting (1:500 - 1:1,000 dilution). For optimal results, primary antibody incubations should be performed at room temperature. The addition of 0.1% Tween 20 to all Blotto solutions may also reduce background. Individual optimization may be required.
Buffer:
PBS containing 0.02% sodium azide and 0.1 mg/ml BSA. Sodium azide is highly toxic.
Positive Control:
Active Motif's
HeLa nuclear extract (Catalog No. 36010) can be used as a positive control for LIG1 antibody.
Compatible Secondary Antibodies:
Active Motif has developed a variety of high-quality secondary antibodies for most applications, with anti-rabbit and anti-mouse conjugates to a broad line of high-quality fluorescent molecules, as well as horse radish peroxidase (HRP). Visit our Secondary Antibody Conjugates page to find the perfect secondaries for your experiments.
LIG1 pAb tested by Western blot.
Detection of LIG1 by Western blot. The analysis was performed using HeLa nuclear extract and LIG1 pAb at a 1:1,000 dilution.
