LAP2 alpha mAb (Clone 3A3) tested by Western blot.
Detection of LAP2 alpha by Western blot. The analysis was performed using HeLa nuclear extract and LAP2 alpha mAb (Clone 3A3) at a 1:2,000 dilution.

Background

LAP2 α (Lamin Associated Polypeptide, alpha isoform, Thymopoietin) is a nucleoplasmic protein that oligomerizes and binds Hsp70 and Hsc70. It is involved in the organization of the nuclear structure through its interaction with A-type Lamins (Lamin B1). LAP2 α regulates the cell cycle through its interaction with the Rb protein.

Positive Control

Active Motif's HeLa nuclear extract (Catalog No. 36010) can be used as a positive control for LAP2 alpha antibody (Clone 3A3).
