for MALT1 antibody (mAb)Background
MALT1 enhances Bcl10-induced activation of NFκB and is also involved in nuclear export of Bcl10. MALT1 binds to TRAF6, inducing TRAF6 oligomerization and activation of its ligase activity. MALT1 dependent Bcl10 cleavage plays an important role in T-cell antigen receptor-induced integrin adhesion. MALT1 was independently identified as a protein of 824 amino acids, and human MALT2 isoform b is an amino acid protein of 813 amino acids. MALT1 is thought to play a role in NFκB signaling by enhancing NFκB (NFκB p50 and NFκB p65) activation through interaction with Bcl10. Interaction between MALT1 and Bcl10 mediates IKK (IKKα, IKKβ Clone 10AG2, IKKβ Clone 10A9B6, IKKi/IKKε and IKKγ) activation in vitro through facilitating the ubiquitination of NEMO by the ubiquitin conjugating enzyme UBC13.
