for ATF-6 antibody (mAb)Background
ATF-6 (activating transcription factor 6) is a transmembrane transcription factor that acts during endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress to activate transcription.
for ATF-6 antibody (mAb)Immunogen
This ATF-6 antibody was raised against a partial protein containing amino acid residues 1-273 of human ATF-6.
for ATF-6 antibody (mAb)Application Notes
This ATF-6 antibody has been validated for use in Western blotting (0.5 - 2.0 µg/ml dilution) and immunofluorescence (1:100 dilution). For optimal results, primary antibody incubations should be performed at room temperature. The addition of 0.1% Tween 20 to all Blotto solutions may also reduce background. Individual optimization may be required.
for ATF-6 antibody (mAb)Buffer
PBS containing 0.02% sodium azide. Sodium azide is highly toxic.
Compatible Secondary Antibodies
Active Motif has developed a variety of high-quality secondary antibodies for most applications, with anti-rabbit and anti-mouse conjugates to a broad line of high-quality fluorescent molecules, as well as horse radish peroxidase (HRP). Visit our Secondary Antibody Conjugates page to find the perfect secondaries for immunofluorescence experiments with ATF-6 antibody (mAb).
ATF-6 mAb tested by Western blot.
ATF-6 detection by Western blot. The analysis was performed using ATF-6 mAb and 10 µg 293 nuclear extract. A protein of approximately 90 kDa is detected.
for ATF-6 antibody (mAb)Storage
Antibodies in solution can be stored at -80°C for 2 years. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles and keep on ice when not in storage.
for ATF-6 antibody (mAb)Guarantee
