for NAK1/Nur77 antibody (pAb)Background
NAK1 (Nur77, NR4A1, NP10 or GFRP1) is a member of the steroid-thyroid hormone-retinoid receptor superfamily. NAK1 (Nur77, NR4A1, NP10 or GFRP1) expression is induced by phytohemagglutinin in human lymphocytes and by serum stimulation of arrested fibroblasts. The encoded protein acts as a nuclear transcription factor. Translocation of the protein from the nucleus to mitochondria induces apoptosis. Multiple alternatively spliced variants, encoding the same protein, have been identified.
for NAK1/Nur77 antibody (pAb)Immunogen
This NAK1/Nur77 antibody was raised against a peptide corresponding to amino acid residues 251-266 of human NAK1/Nur77.
for NAK1/Nur77 antibody (pAb)Application Notes
This NAK1/Nur77 antibody has been validated for use in Western blotting (1:500 dilution). For optimal results, primary antibody incubations should be performed at room temperature. The addition of 0.1% Tween 20 to all Blotto solutions may also reduce background. Individual optimization may be required.
for NAK1/Nur77 antibody (pAb)Buffer
PBS containing 0.02% sodium azide and 0.1 mg/ml BSA. Sodium azide is highly toxic.
for NAK1/Nur77 antibody (pAb)Positive Control
Active Motif's NIH/3T3 nuclear extract (Catalog No. 36020) can be used as a positive control for NAK1/Nur77 antibody.
NAK1/Nur77 pAb tested by Western blot.
NAK1/Nur77 detection by Western blot. The analysis was performed using NIH/3T3 whole-cell extracts and NAK1/Nur77 pAb at a 1:500 dilution.
for NAK1/Nur77 antibody (pAb)Storage
Antibodies in solution can be stored at -80°C for 2 years. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles and keep on ice when not in storage.
