Siena Biotech SpA Extends License of AKS2 Literature Mining System

Bioalma (Madrid, Spain), a bioinformatics development company, and its distribution partner, Active Motif (Carlsbad, CA) are pleased to announce that Siena Biotech S.p.A. (http://www. sienabiotech.com) has extended its license of AKS2 (almaKnowledgeServer™). AKS2 has provided Siena Biotech a rapid way to explore not only disease, gene, and compound topics found in published literature but also drug, symptom, and biomedical relationships as well. Siena Biotech will use the knowledge mining system to explore results obtained with their comprehensive proteomics platform.
