This AML-3/Runx2 antibody was raised against a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acid residues 333-348 of human AML-3/Runx2.

AML-3 (acute myeloid leukemia 3 protein) also known as Runx2 (runt-related transcription factor 2) is a multifunctional transcription factor that can either activate or repress transcription. The alpha subunit can bind DNA as a monomer, or DNA binding can be increased by heterodimerization. AML-3 is necessary for osteoblastic differentiation and skeletal morphogenesis.

Positive Control

Active Motif's Saos-2 nuclear extract (Catalog No. 36025) can be used as a positive control for AML-3/Runx2 antibody.

Fluorophore- & enzyme-conjugated antibodies should be stored at 4°C. Fluorophore-conjugated antibodies should be protected from light. Keep reagents on ice when not in storage; to avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles, we recommend aliquoting items that will be stored frozen into single-use fractions prior to freezing.
