Applications Validated by Active Motif:
ChIP: 5 µl per ChIP
ChIP-Seq & ChIP-chip: 5 µl each
WB: 1:500 dilution
This SAP30 antibody (pAb) was raised against recombinant full-length human SAP30 protein.
Rabbit serum containing 30% glycerol and 0.035% sodium azide. Sodium azide is highly toxic.
SAP30, also known as Sin3A-associated protein, 30kDa, is part of the SIN3 corepressor complex, that also includes SIN3, SAP18, HDAC1, HDAC2, RbAp46 and RbAp48. SAP30 is involved in the functional recruitment of the Sin3-histone deacetylase complex to a specific subset of N-CoR corepressor complexes.
Active Motif's HeLa nuclear extract (Catalog No. 36010) can be used as a positive control for SAP30 antibody.
