This c-Jun antibody has been validated for use in chromatin IP (3 µl per ChIP) and electrophoretic mobility shift assays (EMSA), and it has been reported to work in immunofluorescence. We recommend adding 6 µl of antibody to the reaction mixture when performing supershift experiments. We also recommend the use of Tris-boric acid electrophoresis buffer. Individual optimization may be required. This antibody is not recommended for Western blotting.

Detection of c-Jun by EMSA analysis. c-Jun antibody was used in a supershift assay (EMSA) with 3T6 Swiss albino nuclear extract (lane 4). Lane 5 demonstrates a supershift competition in the presence of neutralizing peptide.
