SNF2h is a human homolog of the budding yeast Snf2 protein. SNF2h is the catalytic subunit of several chromatin remodeling complexes, such as CHRAC, RSF, ACF, NuRD and NoRC. SNF2H is a member of the SWI/SNF superfamily of proteins and members of this family have helicase and ATPase activities and are thought to regulate transcription of certain genes by altering the chromatin structure around those genes. SNF2h is a component of the and spacing factor RSF (Rsf1), a facilitator of the transcription of class II genes by RNA pol II. It is similar in sequence to the Drosophila ISWI chromatin remodeling protein. The protein encoded by this gene is a component of the chromatin remodeling and spacing factor RSF, a facilitator of the transcription of class II genes by RNA polymerase II. The encoded protein is similar in sequence to the Drosophila ISWI chromatin remodeling protein.

Bridging Antibody to Improve ChIP, MeDIP and IP

Some isotypes of mouse IgG antibodies do not bind well to protein G-conjugated agarose/magnetic beads, which are commonly used in ChIP, MeDIP and IP experiments. Capture efficiency can be improved by including an anti-mouse IgG bridging antibody because it binds with a strong affinity to both the protein G beads and the mouse IgG antibody. By increasing the affinity of the mouse primary antibody for the protein G bead, the Bridging Antibody for Mouse IgG can help improve the results of all ChIP, MeDIP and IP experiments that use SNF2h antibody (mAb).
