Active Motif’s SARS-CoV-2 Spike S1 Protein ELISA Kit is designed to detect Spike S1 protein receptor-binding domain (RBD) from biological samples such as saliva, plasma, or cell culture supernatant which may contain the S1 protein.
The ELISA contains an optimized protocol and all the necessary reagents to perform the assay on a single 96-well plate. Serial dilutions of recombinant Spike S1 protein provided in the kit can be used to generate a standard curve for quantification of Spike S1 protein levels in your sample of interest.

The kit contains sufficient reagents to perform 96 reactions. While the kit is shipped on dry ice, it contains reagents with multiple storage temperatures inside. Please confirm receipt of all reagents upon arrival and store items at the appropriate temperatures as indicated below. All reagents are guaranteed stable for 6 months from date of receipt when stored properly. This kit includes the following components:

Raw absorbance (450 nm) was plotted versus concentration of the SARS-CoV-2 Spike S1 (RBD) Protein Standard. The data shown are an average of four independent experiments. Bars represent standard deviation. The development time was 5 minutes. The curve is a 5-Parameter Logistic (5PL) regression fit to the data determined using GraphPad Prism 8 software.
