Cleavage Under Target and Tagmentation (CUT&Tag) is an alternative method to traditional ChIP assays that can reveal interactions between histone modifications and other proteins and the DNA they interacts with or to identify DNA binding sites for proteins of interest. The CUT&Tag assay requires a highly specific primary antibody to the protein target of interest that must specifically detect the protein in its native, unfixed form. Active Motif specializes in manufacturing high-quality antibodies to histones, histone modifications, chromatin proteins, and other factors, including a growing list of antibodies that we have experimentally validated in-house to work well in CUT&Tag assays.
