Active Motif Acquires SwitchGear Genomics, Inc. Further Expanding Gene Regulation Product Offerings
March 21, 2013 – Active Motif, a leading provider of kits and reagents for the study of epigenetic phenomena, today announced the acquisition of privately owned SwitchGear Genomics, Inc. Founded in 2006 by Stanford scientists Shelley Force Aldred, Nathan Trinklein and Richard Myers, SwitchGear Genomics is a leading provider of research products for studying regulatory elements in the human genome.
