Immunogen
This beta-tubulin antibody was raised against sarkosyl-resistant filaments from Strongylocentrotus purpuratus (sea urchin) sperm axonemes.
Buffer
Purified IgG in PBS with 30% glycerol and 0.035% sodium azide. Sodium azide is highly toxic.
Background
Beta Tubulin (β-tubulin) is a structural protein and one of the components of microtubules, cytoskeletal filaments that serve a variety of important roles within the cell, including providing structural stability and performing chromosome segregation.
Storage
