Application Notes
Validated Applications:
WB: 0.1-1 µg/ml each
IF: 0.4-2 µg/ml
Immunogen
This c-Myc antibody was raised against a peptide of human c-Myc
Buffer
Purified IgG in 140 mM Hepes, pH 7.5, 70 mM NaCl, 32 mM NaOAc, 40% glycerol and 0.035% sodium azide. Sodium azide is highly toxic.
AbFlex® c-Myc rAb antibody tested by Western Blot.
40 µg of Raji whole cell extracts were run on SDS-PAGE and probed with AbFlex c-Myc antibody at 0.1 µg/mL.
AbFlex® c-Myc rAb antibody tested by immunofluorescence.
c-Myc was detected in human Raji cells using AbFlex c-Myc (rAb) at 1 µg/mL, followed by Multi-rAb CoraLite® Plus 594-Goat AntiRabbit Recombinant Secondary Antibody (H+L).
Background
AbFlex® antibodies are recombinant antibodies (rAbs) that have been generated using defined DNA sequences to produce highly specific, reproducible antibodies. Each AbFlex antibody contains a 6xHis Tag, a Biotinylation Tag for enzymatic biotin conjugation using the biotin ligase, BirA, and a sortase recognition motif (LPXTG) to attach a variety of labels directly to the antibody including fluorophores, enzymatic substrates (HRP, AP), peptides, drugs as well as solid supports.
AbFlex® c-Myc antibody was expressed as full-length IgG with rabbit immunoglobulin heavy and light chains in mammalian HEK293 cells.
